All too often club life in Buenos Aires is a struggle for survival as a founder generation slowly dies out but this European Club — founded on Europe Day (May 9) in 2003 — is young in every sense. According to Stevens, the youth committee (which has grown from an initial four to 14 and seems to double every year) is the driving-force behind this dynamic organization. The world’s first and only European club, it lays a special stress on education (including European scholarships) apart from the usual social and cultural activities and business networking.
