First and Only
Buenos Aires Herald 05/08/06
The Club Europeos top brass from left to right, secretary-general Rodolfo Caffaro Kramer, president Eduardo Cosentino, youth committee chairman Nicolás Leonhardt and outgoing youth committee chairman Didier Stevens pose for the Herald just before one of their regular meetings last week. All too often club life in Buenos Aires is a struggle for survival as a founder generation slowly dies out but this European Club founded on Europe Day (May 9) in 2003 is young in every sense. According to Stevens, the youth committee (which has grown from an initial four to 14 and seems to double every year) is the driving-force behind this dynamic organization. The worlds first and only European club, it lays a special stress on education (including European scholarships) apart from the usual social and cultural activities and business networking.
